Celebrating its 16Th Year, the annual competence of photography and Digital Submarine online cinema recognized the best of the submarine photography talent of the EAU in multiple categories of images and videos in a awards ceremony in Deep Dive Dubai last week.
Open to EDA members, the competition was launched by the Association of Docu of Emirates (EDA) in 2009 with the mission of capturing the beauty of the underwater world and revealing it to those who are not of the bathrooms and those who are not familiar with the marine environment. Through the event, EDA seeks to develop a deeper relationship between the general public and the oceans of the world to encourage the conservation practices of this vital ecosystem.
The awards were awarded to the winners by Juma Khalifa Bin Thalith, president of EDA and famous author, Ali Khalifa Bin Thalith, renowned photographer and filmmaker and general secretary of Hamdan Bin Mohammed al Makhhamd Jaber, health judge, security and technical inspectors of EDA, and Mohamad Abdulla Almusallam, Judge, Judge, Judge, Judge, Judge, Judge, Judge, Judge, Judge, Judge, Judge, Judge, Judge, Judge Digital.
Commenting on the 2025 awards ceremony, Ibrahim al Zu’ubi, co -founder of the Emirates Diviros Association He said: “A great congratulation to all winners tonight. All images and videography work presented this year in ocean enthusiasts who support our mission to reveal the underwater world that we care so much to Arab Emirates and the world of audiences. Competition could not succeed without you.”
