Dubai International Chamber launches 36th international representative office in Bangkok – Business – Economy and Finance

– The International Chamber of Dubai launches the 36th Office of International Representatives in Bangkok to boost trade and investments with Thailand

• Hey Mohammad Ali Rashed Lotah: “The launch of our new office in Bangkok further strengthens Dubai’s global connectivity and reaffirms our commitment to support companies to expand their international footprints.”
• Dubai non -oil trade with Thailand exceeded the AED 23.8 billion in 2024, achieving a substantial growth of Yoy or 23.3%.
• The number of Thai companies registered as active members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce increased by 28.4% duration 2024 to reach 190 at the end of the year.

The International Chamber of Dubai, one of the three cameras that operate under the umbrella or the Dubai cameras, has opened its 36th representative office in Thailand. Located in Bangkok, the new office will play a key role in attracting companies and investments from Thailand to Dubai and further strengthen the growing commercial ties between the two markets.

The Chamber Office will work to deepen relations with the key interested parties of the public and private sector and will offer an integral range of support to the Thai business community, providing access to market intelligence, business pairing services and strategic orientation on the entrance to the market. The launch supports the objectives of the Global Initiative of Dubai, whose objective is to attract foreign companies, investors and international talent to Dubai by showing the competitive advantages of the Emirate and improving bilateral participation.

His Excellency Mohammad Ali Rashed Lotah, President and Ceo of Dubai Chambers, Commented: “The Launch of Our New Office in Bangkok Furthens Dubai’s Global Connectivity and Refifirms Our Commitment To Supporting Theirites Companies Seeking To Enter Dubai and Leverage The City ‘ Strategic Advantages As a gateway to Global Growth.

Unlocking opportunities in Thailand
The new office was inaugurated by the ‘do business with Thailand’, which was organized as part of the commercial mission ‘New Horizons’ of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to the Southeast Asia. Organized in Bangkok, the forum was attended by more than 474 participants, including senior officials, business leaders and Thai colleagues interested in exploring opportunities for association with the Chamber delegation.

The commercial mission attracted the participation of 20 companies based in Dubai that operate, including food and drinks, human resources, commerce, electronics, hospitality, industrial lubricants, investment and agriculture. The successful Chamber coordinated 288 bilateral business meetings between members of the Dubai delegation and Thailand companies.

The Forum was organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Thailand Investment Board. Hehutintorn Gongsakdi delivered special comments from the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand and Potnvit Silaon, deputy general director of the International Trade Promotion Department. The event also presented Speeches of Hey Saeed Obaid Bintaresh Aldhaheri, Ambassador of the Arab Emirates United to the Kingdom of Thailand, and Dr. Poj Aramwattananont, president of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Thailand Commerce Board.

Duration The Business Forum, Salem al Shamsi, Vice President of International Relations of Dubai Chambers, offered a detailed presentation on Dubai’s economic panorama, highlighting the unique competitive advantages of the Emirate for companies and investors. The Forum also presented a dedicated session with representatives of the Thailand Investment Board, which provides information on the local business environment and explored promising investment opportunities.

The forum aimed to build on the expanding economic ties between Dubai and Thailand. Bilateral non -oil trade exceeded the duration of $ 23.8 billion 2024, achieving substantial growth year after year or 23.3%. The number of Thai colleagues registered as active members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce increased by 28.4% duration 2024 to reach 190 by the end of the year, which underlines the growing commitment between the two markets.

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce has identified a series of high potential export products from Dubai to Thailand, including food for livestock, fertilizers, iron/steel of flat knees, non -weught aluminum alloys and cosmetic products. In terms of investment opportunities for Dubai -based companies in Thailand, the key sectors include rental and lease services, renewable energy, loading and distribution services, and medical tourism.
