Abdulla Bin Mohammed Bin Butti Al Hamed, President of the National Media Office and President of the Eau Media Council, inaugurated the new headquarters of the Council in Dubai on the Internet City.
The measure is aligned with the vision of the advice to promote a flexible and efficient work environment that fosters national talent, attracts the global experience and maintains the rhythm of the rapid developments in the media sector.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mohammed Saeed to Shehhi, general secretary of the Eau Media Council; Maitha Majed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Strategy Sector and Media Policies; Abdulla Belhoul, CEO or Grupo Tecom; Majed al Suwaidi, managing director of Dubai Media City; And ammar the Malik, executive vice president of commercial lease in Tcom Group.
Abdulla al Hamed toured the new facilities, which enjoys a strategic location in the heart of one of the most prominent media centers in the world. The new headquarters are expected to improve the capacity of the Council to build effective associations with leading institutions and strengthen their role in the anticipation and configuration of the future of the media with greater efficiency and agility.
The installation also reflects the broader commitment of the Council to develop its institutional structure in support of its strategic objectives.
Duration a meeting with the Council staff, Al Hamed said that the new headquarters embodies the vision of the Council to establish a progressive regulatory environment, one that promotes national talent, the capital of parenting in human development.
He stressed the importance of clarifying the impulse built since the beginning of the Council and requested greater efforts in the next phase, partly in the implementation of media policies and initiatives aligned with the new framework of the media. This includes integrated legislation and services designed to boost the competitiveness of the sector, boost growth and create opportunities for local content and emerging media companies.
