AD PORTS Group announced the signing of a 50 -year agreement with OyLZ Terminals, a supply and distribution provider of EU -based oil, to develop a world -class class storage installation in the port of Khalifa.
The agreement will cause Olyz’s terminals to develop a state -of -the -art CBM tank storage installation in the Khalifa port hub in two phases.
The first phase of the installation is expected to begin operations in mid -2027.

Saif Al Mazrouei, executive director, Ports Cluster – AD Ports Group, said the agreement underlines the strategic importance of the port of Khalifa as a vital shopping center, not only for the EAU but for the entire region.
“This liquid storage terminal will improve port capabilities and attract more customers looking for world class infrastructure and perfect access to global markets,” he said.

The new liquid storage installation is expected to play a crucial role in supporting the EAU position as an important basic products distribution center for the region and will contribute to economic growth by creating new job opportunities and gigaining new commercial activities.
