In the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), the headquarters based in Dubai Flydubai and Boeing announced an agreement to modernize 21 of the 737 Max aircraft of Flydubai with larger Boing space containers.
Each space container can accommodate up to six standard size bags per container by turning a bag on its edge, an increase of four bags per container compared to a standard container.
“Since the operations began in 2009, we have continued dedicated to investing in product innovation and raising the experience of our passengers. Offered in a wide body plane,” said Daniel Kerrison, senior vice president of flight operations in Flydubai.
“The passengers are making the connection between the capacity of the container and the additional room they need and wait for their handbags,” said Doug Backhus, vice president of cabin, modifications and maintenance in Boeing. “We are proud to associate with Flydubai to carry the capacity of space containers to their existing 737 Max fleet.”
The carrier is attended by a young and efficient fleet or 88 Boeing 737, 59 or 737 maximum aircraft.
Flydubai has built a growing network of more than 130 destinations in 55 countries in Africa, Central Asia, Caucasus, the center and southeast of Europe, the CCG and the Middle East, South Asia and southern Asia.
