The president of the EAU, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed al Nahyan, today received Chris Wright, Secretary of Energy of the United States, who is visiting the EAU as part of a tour of the Middle East.
Duration The meeting, which took place in QASR to Shati in Abu Dhabi, his Highness and Secretary Wright discussed the strategic relationships between the EAU and the United States, with an approach to energy cooperation, joint investments in advanced economy. The conversations also explored opportunities to promote investment in the energy sector.
His highness reaffirmed the Eau’s commitment to depend on their ancient and constructive association with the United States, based on an effective collaboration to advance shared progress and development.
His highness also underlined EAU’s commitment to contribute to global energy security in support of the world economy and for the benefit of all.
The meeting was attended by HH Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Heir Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region; HH Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Prime Minister and Interior Minister; HH Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan; HH Sheikh Khalid Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Board of Directors of the Zayed Superior Organization for people of determination (ZHO); Suhail Bin Mohammed Faraj Faris al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Dr. Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Yousef al Otaiba, ambassador of the EAU in the United States of America; and several officials.
