Mubadala Invests $600 Million in Nord Anglia Education, Strengthening Global Premium Schools Network – Business – Corporate

Mubadala Investment Company, the investment company based in Abu Dhabi, announced its agreement to acquire a minority participation in Nord Anglia Education, a leading organization of international schools, for $ 600 million. Mubadala will join the consortium led by the Global EQT investment organization, which includes Neuberger Berman, Canada Pension Investment Board, Financial Corporation Alba, SA and Dubai Holding.

Alvin Teh, Chief of Consumer of Mubadala, said: “We are pleased to announce our investment in Nord Anglia Education and we are proud to join an experienced consortium of international investors led by the equation.

Operating around 80 schools in 33 countries, Nord Anglia educates more than 90,000 students from 2 to 18 years. His students achieve excellent academic results, and Year 12 graduates regularly accept in the 100 best universities in the world. Central of Nord Anglia’s educational philosophy is its personalized learning approach, where classroom teaching adapts to the unique learning style of each student.

Jack Hennessy, partner of EQT Private Capital, said: “We are pleased to welcome Mubadala as a new investor in Nord Anglia. This marks an important milestone on the company’s trip and more strengthening the perspective.

Andrew Fitzmaurice, executive director of Nord Anglia Education, declared: “Mubadala’s commitment to the growth and development of Nord Anglia’s educational sacrifice will even more strengthen the learning experiences that we create the persecution of persecution.”
