The Eau (UAEFA) soccer association has announced that Romanian coach Cosmin Oluucroiu will take over the national team in the next period.
The Association pointed out in his statement that the Romanian coach has signed a contract with the national team for a duration of two years, until 2027.
The Eau national team is currently in third place in Group A of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup with 13 points after Uzbekistan (17 points). Iran leads with 20 points.
Onowre’s main task will be to lead the search for the EAU for a World Cup place, through two vital accessories in the summer.
The Eau National Team will face Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the final matches of the June 5 and 10, respectively.
Olariou has become the outstanding candidate after guiding Sharjah to the final of the AFC Champions League Dos.
