Dubai South announced the opening of a new logistics installation for Washington Expeitors International, Inc. in its logistics district.
The installation of 23,200 square meters will provide storage and compliance services to meet the growing regional demand.
Senior officials of both organizations attended the opening ceremony, including Mohsen Ahmad, executive director of the logistics district, Dubai South; and Expeditors, Wael Hanna, District Manager, Dubai, K Murali, Senior Vice President, the Middle East, Africa and Indian Subcontinent; and Mathew Joseph, regional vice president, the Middle East and North Africa, the Dubai Media Office He said in a statement.

The new installation offers comprehensive services that include operations of the container load station, inventory management, kiting, labeling, orders management, compliance inspections, return programs, transport management, selection and package services and quality control inspections.

Expeditors, a Fortune 500 global logistics company based in Bellevue, Washington, used training professionals at 176 district offices and numerous branches on six continents.
