E & EAU, the largest technology and telecommunications company in the country, has launched a new service that combines its two areas of specialization and facilitates a critical part of its operations.

Marking an important leap in the management of telecommunications infrastructure and operational safety, E & will now use autonomous drones promoted by artificial intelligence (AI) for its cell towers inspections.

The new initiative combines real -time data analysis, AI and autonomous flight capabilities to allow faster, more safe and more sustainable inspection of telecommunications towers in the EAU.

This follows the recently inaugurated drone operations center, which was established in collaboration with the EAU Cyber Security Council and the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to advance traffic management without handling (UTM) and the integration of drones.

Unlike traditional towers inspections, drones can navigate in autonomous complex environments, eliminating the need for personnel on the site and improves workers’ safety and operational efficiency. They also play a vital role in the emergency response, supporting the delivery of critical aid and connectivity in difficult access areas.

Autonomous drones redefine the way in which telecommunications infrastructure is maintained and monitored. Controlled remotely from the drone operations center, each drone flight is tracked in real time by expert teams that supervise the progress of the flight, verify the safety protocols and guarantee the accuracy of the inspection.

Marwan Bin Shakar, an interim officer of technology and information and information information, EU, commented: “The integration of autonomous drones in operational operations reflects our commitment to reinvent the network operations through the reduction of the reduction of that flow.

“Through ideas fed by AI and real -time control, we are improving security and precision or inspections of telecommunications towers while allowing faster decisions based on data that drive the future our resilience center.”

The deployment of the Drones Operations Center and its integration into the National Marks highlights a coordinated effort with regulatory partners to guarantee full compliance with air safety, cyber security and operational integrity.

Through advanced analytics, drones instantly detect the inspection of the duration of structural anomalies, allowing a proactive approach to maintenance that avoids the expensive lack of description and extends the useful life of the assets. Technology also admits remote inspections of security procedures and the surveillance of unauthorized activity, promoting a more intelligent and safer network environment.

Each review generates processable data that are fed in the E & UAES digital infrastructure management systems, which supports predictive maintenance, the use of optimized assets and a significant reduced carbon footprint compared to traditional inspection methods.

E & ‘innovation also shows the role of the company as a reliable digital facilitator, aligning with the ambitions of the EAU to lead in the technology -based transformation and the development of the smart city.
