A British air hostess who had been held in a Dubai prison for two months is said to have been released.
Liverpool air hostess Derrin Crawford is believed to have been arrested on June 21 alongside a man she had only met for the first time that night after police allegedly found two cannabis joints at his apartment
The pair were on a first date, and both were arrested after police raided the home.
The 23-year-old, who works as cabin crew for Emirates, was told she would be released if she passed a drug tests.
But despite testing negative she was detained, sparking fears for her welfare behind bars during the coronavirus pandemic.
Derrin’s family have been growing increasingly concerned for her welfare in the Al-Barsha jail where they said she was living off bread, jam and water.
