THE WHAT? L’Oréal Groupe has announced a strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to scale the use of generative and agentic AI across its beauty business, including content creation, digital rendering, and AI-powered consumer personalization.
THE DETAILS Unveiled during L’Oréal’s “New Frontiers of Beauty” conference at VivaTech Paris, the collaboration will see L’Oréal leverage NVIDIA AI Enterprise to accelerate the deployment of AI solutions across its ecosystem. Key initiatives include CREAITECH, L’Oréal’s in-house generative AI content engine, which combines 3D product rendering with generative AI to produce agile, scalable campaign content for e-commerce and social media.
The partnership also supports Noli, L’Oréal’s AI-powered beauty discovery platform and marketplace startup, which acts as a “beauty matchmaker” using over one million facial scans and thousands of product formulation insights to offer hyper-personalized recommendations. Noli’s newly launched AI Refinery, developed with NVIDIA and Accenture, enables rapid, responsible AI innovation hosted on Microsoft Azure.
THE WHY? As AI reshapes consumer expectations in beauty, L’Oréal is positioning itself at the forefront of this shift—aiming to enhance creativity, deepen personalization, and streamline product discovery. By integrating generative AI with 3D product technologies and data-driven diagnostics, the group is not only improving internal agility but also transforming how beauty consumers engage, shop, and connect with brands across digital platforms.
