Invisalign_the invisible braces
Orthodontists first used removable and later fixed appliances to monitor and reduce unnecessary movement of the tooth in three-dimensional space to move the teeth. Dr.GAD states that The Invisalign method is different, in which the aligners have intimate contact with almost the entire tooth crown surface, Attempts to put the best quality of removable and fixed appliances together. It also provides patients with an esthetic touch and undeniable ease, and convenient access to oral hygiene.

The positive thing about Invisalign orthodontic dental procedures is that they do more than just straighten out the teeth. These are also useful for fixing bite problems which often require special diagnosis and treatment. Dr GAD addresses Invisalign’s advantages.

Using Invisalign is an effective approach which is not too complex for tooth movements. A collection of translucent, computer-generated trays with change-outs every two weeks is best worn 24 hours a day. There are several trays which can last from six months to a year. However, these require some form of retention to prevent unintentional shifting of the teeth. One of the greatest benefits is the relative invisibility of the trays. Hence the Invisalign name. Some people just don’t want anyone to know they have braces. They also offer support to people who would like to have straight teeth while also feeling secure in social settings. Wearing Invisalign provides comfort as this does not impact your speech.

The ugly duckling stage

The term ugly duckling stage implies the unesthetic appearance of the infant at this point.

A stage of dental formation, typically between the ages of 7 and 12 years, that precedes the eruption of permanent canines when the upper central and lateral incisors are tilted sidewards due to the crowding of un-erupted canines. Develops a midline space (median diastema), known as the ugly duckling stage. Dr.GAD emphasize that the midline space is typically transitory, and this condition is corrected after the canines have erupted. The canines apply pressure to the crown of the incisors after the eruption. This causes them to move back to the original positions

If there’s not enough space in the mouth for the canines to fit correctly, that’s when we need your child’s braces. But the Intervention should be done at the appropriate time; at this point no orthodontic treatment should be done the canine is in danger of being deflected from its normal eruption route.

Dental care and pregnancy

It is critical that you take good care of your teeth and gums during pregnancy. Pregnancy causes hormonal changes that increase the risk of developing gum disease, which, in turn, can affect the health of your developing child.

Dr.Gad points out some tips to help you keep your oral health healthy before, during and after your pregnancy.

Try to schedule a dental consultation before you become pregnant. In this way, your teeth can be cleaned professionally, gum tissue can be thoroughly inspected and any oral health issues can be treated before your pregnancy.

Although during pregnancy, check with your obstetrician before you get your dental appointment to see if she has any special precautions / guidance for you. Dental routine treatment can be provided at any time during pregnancy, as well as, any urgent procedures. However, all elective dental procedures should be postponed until after delivery.

Dr.Gad emphasize on telling your dentist the names and dosages of all medicines you are taking – including medicines and prenatal vitamins recommended by your doctor – as well as any relevant medical advice your doctor has provided. Based on this information your dentist may need to change your dental care plan.

Advances in technology have made X-rays much better today than they have done in the past decades. So dental X-rays can be used during pregnancy, however, your dentist will take great care to protect your baby and you, such as covering your abdomen and thyroid.

Don’t miss your appointment to dental checkup just because you’re pregnant. Regular periodontal (gum) inspections are now more necessary than any other time, because pregnancy induces hormonal changes that put you at elevated risk for periodontal disease and tender gums that bleed easily.

Pay careful attention to any changes in the gums during pregnancy. If tenderness, bleeding or swelling of the gum happens during your pregnancy at any time, contact your dentist as soon as possible.

To stop and/or eliminate oral health issues implement good oral hygiene practices.

If you have had some gum issues during your pregnancy, visit your dentist soon after delivery to have your whole mouth checked and tested for periodontal health.

The airline is still awaiting approval to operate the flights to Dubai. In August, it was announced that flights would begin between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

As soon as normalization talks between the two countries were announced, Israir’s CEO started talking about flights between Tel Aviv and Dubai. However, at the time, he mentioned that this would hinge on whether Saudi Arabia would grant the airline overflight rights for its airspace.

Dubai is looking to attract retirees by gearing up a program first started two years ago that’s taken on greater urgency as the Middle East business hub

Dubai is looking to attract retirees by gearing up a program first started two years ago that’s taken on greater urgency as the Middle East business hub contends with the flight of expatriates amid an economic downturn.

Foreigners over the age of 55 will be eligible for a five-year renewable visa if they meet certain criteria, according to the Dubai Media Office. In its initial phase, the program will focus on residents working in the second-biggest sheikhdom in the United Arab Emirates.

Built on trade and tourism in a region reliant on oil, Dubai saw its population growth slow for three straight years even before the global pandemic shook up its economy. With job losses in the UAE accelerating to the fastest on record, the emirate runs the risk of seeing more expatriates choosing to decamp to other countries or return home.

Dubai has started a program that makes foreigners over the age of 55 eligible for a five-year renewable visa

Dubai has started a program that makes foreigners over the age of 55 eligible for a five-year renewable visa if they meet certain criteria, according to the Dubai Media Office. The business hub of the Middle East has started the program to attract wealthy retirees as the city a flight of expatriates amid an economic downfall.

The initial phase of the program will focus on UAE residents working in Dubai.

The candidates will be eligible only if they meet one of the following requirements like Monthly income of 20,000 dirhams ($5,445), Savings of 1 million dirhams, Own property in Dubai worth 2 million dirhams.

In 2018, expatriates to stay beyond retirement age. People of foreign nationalities constitute 90 per cent of the city’s population, but the residency is tied to employment, discouraging many from setting roots, and in turn investments, in the city.

Dubai is seeking to attract wealthy foreign retirees as the economy of the Middle East trade and tourism hub reels from the coronavirus pandemic

Dubai is seeking to attract wealthy foreign retirees as the economy of the Middle East trade and tourism hub reels from the coronavirus pandemic and low oil prices, prompting many expatriates to leave.

It will grant visas renewable every five years to resident expatriates and foreigners over the age of 55 who fulfil specific financial conditions, the government media office said.

To be eligible, they must have a monthly income of at least 20,000 dirhams ($5,445) or 1 million dirhams in cash savings, or 2 million dirhams worth of property in Dubai.
Important sectors of the Dubai economy such as tourism and transportation have been severely impacted by the coronavirus crisis and firms have been cutting jobs to save costs.

This has prompted many expatriates – who make up the majority of the population of the UAE, which includes Dubai – to leave the country in which residency is tied to employment and that does not offer citizenship routes to non-nationals.

The new law could help prop up Dubai’s real estate market, which has been suffering from oversupply for years.

The economy of Dubai, the UAE’ second-largest and second-wealthiest emirate after oil-rich Abu Dhabi, is expected to shrink sharply this year, with some analysts estimating a contraction of over 10 percent.
