PPF Telecom acquires Serbia’s SBB for $891mn

E & PPF Telecom, a subsidiary of Emirates Telecommunications Group Company (E &), announced the completion of its agreement to acquire the broadband of Serbia (SBB).

The arm of the Emirates telecommunications group acquired a 100 percent capital participation in the Serbian cable and broadband television service provider for $ 891 million (EUR 825 million).

The company said the acquisition was fined through the debt insured by the unit.

E & PPF Telecom completes the acquisition

E & PPF Telecom Group, a joint PPF company based in E & A & Czech, signed a binding agreement with Balkan Telecoms and a half Company United Group in February to take SBB.

The agreement is expected to help E&I to expand its operations in central Eastern Europe, and also to diversify its sources of income.

With the end of the agreement, E & said that your unit can combine SBB with your Serbia Yettel mobile subsidiary.

The Serbian acquisition follows Emirates Telecommunications Group Company (E&E) acquiring a control participation (50 percent +1 economic participation) in the PPF Telecom assets in Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia and Slovakia to form the holder company.

Investments are an important milestone in E & In Internationy to climb and add more resilience to its operative through expansion to the telecommunications market of central and eastern Europe.

Acquisitions also encourage E & ‘capacity to provide innovative telecommunications and digital services in all high thesis potential markets.
