The hotel business in the Asia-Pacific region will exceed Europe by 2026, according to the latest skift research.
“Duration The pandemic, the Asia-Pacific region beat Europe in accommodation income. While Europe recovered quickly, we anticipate that the Asia-Pacific region will exceed Europe once again in 2026,” the report said.
To meet the growing demand, there are 2,074 projects, with 408,213 rooms, currently in the hotel pipeline in the region, chrowing the last tendency report of the accommodation economy construction pipe.
Among the last hotels and places to open, or open soon, there are three new convention centers in the largest cities in New Zealand: Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington.
