President Trump will talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday morning about the War in Ukraine And then I’ll talk to Ukrainian President VolodyYMyr Zenskyy and NATO leaders.

In a publication about Truth Social, the president said: “The subjects of the call will be, to stop the ‘blood bath’ that is killing, on average, more than 5000 Russian and Ukrainian soldiers per week and commerce.”

The president is talking to Putin at 10 am et, and then with Zenskyy when the call concludes, said White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt.

On Saturday, Trump said he and Putin would discuss the “blood bath” in Ukraine. Vice President JD Vance with Sunday in Rome with Zenskyy, his first face -to -face conversation from his explosive February Oval Office meeting.

“I don’t want to get ahead of these import conversations, but, of course, he will listen directly to the president or me after those calls conclude today, so he can expect” Leavitt said at a press conference from Monday morning.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a Interview that was broadcast on Sunday In “in front of the nation with Margaret Brennan” that “one of the things that could help break this registration jam, perhaps the only thing that can, is a direct conversation between President Trump and Vladimir Putin.”
