DCT Abu Dhabi joins forces with influencer Prajakta Koli to woo Indian travellers

Abu Dhabi: The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has partnered with Indian content creator Prajakta Koli to launch a curated itinerary showcasing the Emirate’s top attractions and experiences for Indian travellers. 

Unveiled at an event in Mumbai, the collaboration aims to raise awareness of Abu Dhabi’s diverse offerings, including new experiences like teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi and Surf Abu Dhabi. It also empowers travel agents to enhance their packages with fresh options for Indian tourists.

Prajakta Koli, whose Instagram handle is MostlySane, has over 17 million followers and is celebrated for her engaging travel and lifestyle videos. Her curated itineraries highlight Abu Dhabi’s appeal for various traveller types—families, couples, luxury seekers, and adventure enthusiasts. 

During the event, travel professionals were introduced to Abu Dhabi’s latest attractions, providing them new opportunities to create unique itineraries for Indian visitors. This initiative strengthens the UAE’s relationship with the Indian travel trade. It ensures that Abu Dhabi remains a top destination for Indian tourists. India remains one of Abu Dhabi’s key source markets. In 2024, Indian travellers accounted for a significant portion of Abu Dhabi’s international tourist arrivals.
