HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, VicePrimer Minister or Foreign Affairs, today received Jeyhun Bayramov, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Amite or Azerbaiyan, in Abu Dhabi.
Duration The meeting, the two main diplomats discussed the ways of developing cooperation in several fields, including development, economy and investment, in a way that serves the mutual interests of both countries and supports their vision to achieve it.
HH Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the visit of Azeri’s Foreign Minister, noting that the EAU and Azerbaijan share strong and growing relations and that there is a joint commitment to strengthen them on all fronts for the benefit and preparation of the friends of the bones.
The two ministers also discussed regional and international issues of mutual concern, with the sheikh Abdullah that praises the announcement of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia of their successful peace negotiations. The importance of this historical step to achieve the security, stability and development of the peoples of both countries and the widest region of Caucasus was highlighted.
The meeting was attended by Ahmed Bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State.
