HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic.
The meeting, held today at Abu Dhabi, discussed the strategic relations between the two friendly countries and the ways to improve them in several fields.
HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Jean-Noël Barrot, stating that the EAA and the French Republic share deep historical ties. HH pointed out that bilateral cooperation is performing continuous and sustainable growth in all areas aligned with the shared efforts and objectives of the two countries to achieve sustainable development.
Duration The meeting, the two ministers also discussed the general development in the region, as well as regional and international updates. They explored ways to promote peace and stability and safeguard international peace and security.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Commercial Affairs.
