HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, today received Gideon Sa’ar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, in Abu Dhabi.
HH Sheikh Abdullah welcomed Sa’ar and discussed the growing bilateral relations between the two countries.
The meeting also addressed the last regional development and its implications, particularly the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
Both parties discussed the regional and international efforts to resume a truce agreement, achieve a stop the fire and ensure the release of hostages.
HH Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the priority of working towards a high fire and the release of hostages, as well as the importance of anxing a greater escalation of the conflict in the region. He affirmed the support of the EAU to all diplomatic efforts aimed at protecting civilians and improving the response to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

He pointed out that the EAUs would not save any effort to extend assistance and provide the humanitarian support necessary to meet their needs.
