In addition, their practices represent a significant risk for public health.

ABU Dhabi restaurant closed on the risk of hygiene

Adafsa clarified that the Food Control Report indicated that the administrative closing decision against the establishment was due to its violation of food security regulations.

This was specifically due to repeated high -risk violations that directly affect food security, together with the failure of the establishment of taking effective corrective measures to address these violations, endangering food safety and consumer health.

The report highlighted a warning and three violations were issued against the establishment, together with an administrative closing notice, due to several high -risk violations, which include:

  • The spread of pests and insects
  • Poor hygiene
  • Inadequate storage practices within the establishment
  • Exhibition of products without food labels

The authority also stated that the administrative closing order will remain in force whenever its causes exist.

The establishment can resume operations after rectifying their situation and meet all the necessary requirements to practice the activity and eliminate the causes of the violation.

In addition, Adafsa stressed that the closure and identification of observed violations are part of the unable inspection efforts to strengthen the food security system in Abu Dhabi.

Underline their supervision role to ensure that all establishments meet food safety requirements.

All types of food establishments and products are subject to periodic inspections by ADAFSA inspectors to guarantee compliance with the highest food safety standards.

The authority also encourages the public to communicate with the issue and inform any violation detected in any food establishment, such as breach or suspicion of food content, calling the free number for the Government of Abu Dhabi, 800555.

Adafsa inspectors will take the necessary measures to guarantee the delivery of safe and solid foods to all community members in the Emirate.
