AD Ports Group inks 10-year lease with TW Steel to enhance container fabrication at Khalifa Port

AD PORTS Group announced the signing of a 10 -year lease with TW Steel, a provider of prefabricated structures, to offer manufacturing solutions innovative containers, maintenance of containers and repair services in the Khalifa port.

The new installation will meet the personalized needs of shipping lines and container operators in the Khalifa port.

TW Steel solutions and services are expected to further expand the offer and value proposal of the Khalifa port, expanding the operational efficiency of the port.

In addition to the manufacturing and modification services of containers, TW Steel will offer structural and floors, painting and coating, stamps, cleaning and disinfection, inspection and certification and maintenance of the cooling unit.

Saif Al Mazrouei, Executive Director – Ports Cluster, AD Ports Group, said Zone’s developer is delighted to collaborate with TW Steel to provide customers in the Khalifa port with manufacturing and maintenance solutions of unique and innovative containers.

Fakher Darwish, general manager of TW Steel, said that through its vanguard modular technology, the company will offer high quality and efficient solutions that improve operational efficiency and significant environment.

The agreement is part of the AD Port Group initiatives to improve facilities and services in the port of Khalifa, which has been established as an important logistics center in the region.
