Bombardier announced the opening of its new service installation at the Al Bateen executive airport in Abu Dhabi. The measure is at the attempt to extend the maintenance, repair and review capabilities of the Canadian aerospace manufacturer worldwide.
The new installation rephes a solid association with the airports of Abu Dhabi, lever of their experience and commitment to excellence in aviation, said Bombardier.
This installation, which will be transferred from its location originally announced at the Abu Dhabi International Airport in 2022, further reinforces the company’s commitment to serve its customers in this key market, he added.
The new location in the dynamic executive airport of Al Bateen is aligned more effectively with the needs of the company’s clients, Bombardier said.
The construction of the new installation will begin in the first half of 2025, with the completion and operational preparation expected in the second half of 2026.

“This location is strategically aligned with all our priorities in the accessories market and perfectly coincides with the needs of our most demanding customer base,” he said.
Elena Sorlini, managing director and executive director of Abu Dhabi Airports, said the airport is delighted to welcome the new Bombardier service facilities.
“This movement repeats a strategic alignment, given the dedicated airport approach to commercial aviation and its ability to provide a perfect and efficient experience for the Bombardier clientele,” said Sorge.

The newly located ABU Dhabi de Bombardier service of approximately 120,000 SQ. ft., will have a hangar of 55,000 square feet, a deposit of pieces and a complete set of maintenance services.
It will accommodate Bombardier’s 7500 global plane, as well as the new Global 8000 Bombardier, the flagship of a new era of the company, when it enters the duration of the service in the second half of 2025.
The new installation will also provide service solutions for the region and world customers of Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global Aircraft Families.
At full capacity, the new OEM service installation aims to create approach space works for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, further solidifying Bombardier in this important center.
The new ABU Dhabi service installation expands even more in the footprint of the existing Bombardier service in the EAU.
The Bombardier Dubai line maintenance station offers Learjet, Challenger and global customers with land service (AOG), as well as general line maintenance capabilities.
