Cruise giant Celestyal inks three-year tourism deal with Abu Dhabi

The overall cruise operator, Celestyal, said he signed a three -year agreement with the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi (DCT ABU Dhabi) to promote the Emirate as a key destination among the guests of the lining.

The several -year association, agreed in Global Seatrade in Miami, will also have the objective of establishing even more the affiliations of the cruise line to the region, Celestyal said in a press release.

Celestyal increases EAU ties

Celestyal will return to the region with two ships in December of this year, with three weekly calls to Abu Dhabi during the winter season until March 2026.

Lee Haslett, commercial director of Celestyal, said the company considers that it is a privilege to sign the three -year agreement with DCT Abu Dhabi.

“Abu Dhabi is a diverse and impressive destination, so we are excited not only from Puerto Casero there, but also include three weekly calls to the city during the winter season over the next three years,” he said.

Haslett said the company expects to work closely with its agents members to show everything you have to sacrifice.

“The cruise industry in the Arabic Gulf is on the way to welcoming the record numbers of the passengers in the coming years, and after a strong first season in the region, we are excited to bring the best of this special part of the world to our guests to come.”

The land excursion program of the cruise operator includes nine abu dhabi excursions that transport the guests to the emirate’s hearts.

These include half -day tours that do the best of Abu Dhabi, explorations of food and cultures, visits of thematic parks, days of VIP beach, as well as safaris and classical attractions of the desert.

Last year, Celestyal launched a seven -day itinerary of ‘Desert Days’, incorporating the Celestyal trip of 1,260 guests, navigating Doha and calling Bahrain, Dubai, Khasab, Isla Sir Bani Yas and Abu Dhabi.

The successful extended opening season was held from November to March 2025, and will be presented for a minimum of three seasons.
