Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed to Marri, general director of the Directorate of Residence and Foreigners’ Affairs in Dubai, today announced the completion of an important update to the “smart doors” at Dubai airports, increasing their capacity up to date. The announcement was made of the opening of the 8th International Conference on Excellence and Quality (ICEQ), “Innovations of AI: future forecast to empower public institutes and improve the quality of education.”
The Marri emphasized that the initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to provide intelligent and innovative services that take advantage of the latest technologies to guarantee a perfect travel experience, reduce waiting times and improve operational efficiency in airports.
The announcement spoke its opening speech at the ICEQ conference, organized by the General Directorate of Residence and foreigners aspart of the “Dubai AI Week”, which extends until Thursday.
The conference focuses on innovations in artificial intelligence (AI) and its positive impact on the empowerment of government institutions and the improvement of the quality of education. Explore transformations into public services and education, highlighting the latest technologies that promote institutional efficiency and advance intelligent educational systems.
The event presents panel discussions on topics such as “Use intelligently in education”, exploring intelligent strategies to take advantage of AI to improve the quality of education and develop interactive teaching tools and backed by AI. Other sessions will address the “autonomous distribution services promoted by generative AI”, examining how to integrate AI technologies to increase operational efficiency and boost digital transformation.
In addition, the conference will show innovations through the Google Cloud platform, emphasizing its role in supporting government sectors and educational institutions. Participants will present the latest technological advances and discuss the importance of AI to empower public organizations and raise the education sector.
