Dubai Airports has expanded its autism inclination training program to 45,000 employees throughout the airport community, including members and interested parties, to improve assistance for autistic and sensitive travelers to sensitive travelers to Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International (DWC).

The initiative supports Dubai’s goal to become an Autism Destination ™ (CAD) certified.

DXB has the distinction of being the world’s first international airport to receive the certified designation of the Autism Center ™ (CAC) of the International Board of Stadies of Credentiaaling and Continuing Education (IBCCE) and also (Dubai Autism) ..

The training accredited by IBCCE has been implemented in both airports, with first -line teams of Dubai airports and key partners.

These members include the Dubai Police, the General Directorate of Identity and Affairs of Foreigners, Customs of Dubai, Dnata, Dubai Duty Free, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Dubai Taxi Company, Emirates, Frydubai and other airlines and other airlines and other airlines

The staff receives training in sensory awareness, effective communication and techniques to reduce anxiety, allowing the issue to better support neurodiverse.

Dubai airport sunflower initiative

The ambassadors of the guest experience of Dubai airports, identifiable by sunflower pins, are parked at key points through both airports to provide specialized assistance.

For the month of acceptance of autism, the smart doors in DXB light in blue, while the tour symbols, an international marker for hidden disabilities, are shown in the terminals to increase consciousness.

Airports offer several services for autistic travelers, including the DXB Travel Planner, an online visual guide to help guests prepare for their trip, and the sunflower cord, identify those with Hides Ansabilities-Furmies at the airport.

Additional services include two courtesy parking, dedicated taxis, wheelchair services and the travel room assisted in terminal 2, which sacrifices a quiet and friendly space for the sensations.

Dubai airports continue to promote the awareness of neurodiversity through their “everyone different” initiative, working together with the community development authority, autism organizations, schools and defense groups.
