Dubai has announced free parking and hours of public transport operation for Eidal Fitr holidays.
The road and transport authority (RTA) has announced work hours for all its services.
Regular working hours will resume on Wednesday, April 3. The affected services include Customer Happiness Centers, Pago Parking Areas, Public Buses, Dubai Metro and Tram, Marine Transport and Vehicle Testing Centers (Technical Inspection).
Free eid parking in Dubai
All public parking lots will be free, Eid al Fit party, wait for multiple level parking terminals.
The free parking period will be extended from Shawwal 1 to 3 (corresponding to Sunday, March 30 to Tuesday, April 2), with parking fees paid in Shawwal 4.
Metro and tram
Dubai Metro’s red and green stations will work as follows:
- Saturday March 29: 5 am to 1 am (the next day)
- Sunday March 30: From 8 am to 1 am (the next day)
- From Monday to Wednesday, March 31 to April 2: 5 am to 1 am (the next day)
The Dubai tram will work:
- Saturday to Monday, March 29 to 31: 6 am to 1 am (the next day)
- Sunday, March 30, the services will begin at 9 am and continue to 1 am (the next day)
Dubai marine bus and transportation
For the last service times of public buses (Dubai buses), the Hatta bus and the marine transport services, including the aquatic taxi, the Ferry Dubai, the traditional Open and the Electric Heritage of Abra -During The eid to the Fitring Holiday, use the application s’al or visit the following link.
The RTA reported that the E100 bus route from the Al Ghubaiba bus station will be out of service from Ramadan 28 to Shawwal 3. Duration in this period, passengers are advised to use route E101 from the Ibn Battuta bus station to Abu Dhabi.
In addition, route E102 will be suspended from Ramadan 28 to Shawwal 3.
Vehicle and happiness test centers
The vehicle test centers will be closed from Shawwal 1 to 3, with regular resumption operations in Shawwal 4. The client happiness centers will also remain closed during the same period, while the smart centers of client’s happiness in UMM Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf and the RTA headquarters will continue to operate 24/7 as usual.
