Paul Griffiths, CEO of the airports of Dubai, has affirmed that the continuous position of Dubai International Airport, since the most busy center in the world for international passengers during the eleventh consecutive year is a milestone that goes beyond numbers, incarnational status is an exceptional business and residence.

When commenting on the latest report of the Airports Council International, Griffiths said: “Despite the continuous challenges facing the aviation sector every year, some facts remain unchanged. With 92.3 million passengers in 2024, we continue to maintain our leadership for more than a decade, establishing a new global reference point for international passenger traffic through an individual airport.”

The accredited achievement for collaboration and exceptional efforts made to shape an exceptional travel experience, one that reflects the unique spirit and state of Dubai as a world class city.

Griffiths added that the approach now changes to the future, noting that development work has already begun in Dubai World Central: to the Maktoum International Airport, which will allow greater capacity and establish new standards in the design of the airport and the general travel experience.
