As part of their continuous efforts to train emerging Emirati talent and strengthen its presence in the media sector, the Dubai Media Council (DMC) organized a visit for media media students of technology superior to the regional headquarters of the world’s companies.

Organized as part of the ‘Emirarati Medialent average initiative, launched by DMC, the visit aimed to sacrifice the students to the real world, highlight the professional career in the media and promote direct commitment to industry professionals.

DMC said that collaboration with the private sector and leading media institutes repress a key pillar to advance in the media sector in Dubai and the EAU. The Council highlighted its strong ties with prominent media entities and its key role in supporting efforts to prepare and increase young talent by facilitating knowledge exchange and providing the professional experience necessary to improve their preparation for careers in the media.

Saif Al Suwaidi, project manager of the Dubai Media Council, said that the visit is part of the efforts to carry out the objectives of the initiative of ‘Emirati Media Talent Depge’, launched under the directives of her highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Rashid al Maktou and the Media Council of Seconds Dubai.

“Dubai’s media development strategy places young people in their nucleus. The Dubai Media Council is working closely with the commitment partners to expand opportunities for young Emirati and support their trip towards excellence. Edelman’s support reflects the growing consciousness of the private sector on the game of vital youth in the configuration of the future of the media.

The Suwaidi thanked Edelman for his role as a key partner of the ‘Talent commitment of the media of Emirati’ and for organizing the visit in collaboration with DMC. He praised the company’s efforts in sacrifices of significant exposure to current practices in communications and marketing, particularly in a fast volume digital panorama that is remodeling how the audience is compromised worldwide.

Interactive sessions
The visit presented a series of interactive sessions aimed at enriching students’ understanding of how global communications companies operate. A question and answer session dedicated to great students the opportunity to interact directly with high -level professionals and ascent talent in Edelman. The discussion covered a variety of issues, from skills required to successful in the industry to the importance of adaptability, creativity and cultural awareness in modern communications.

Omar Qirem, executive director of Edelman Middle East, welcomed students with an introduction to the company’s vision, key work areas and guide values. He highlighted Edelman’s commitment to identify and support young talent, and professional phostetic environments that allow them to prosper in the dynamic panorama of the media.

The visit also included a guided orientation through the various departments of Edelman, offering participants a closer look at how teams collaborate in customer campaigns, develop content strategies, monitor trends and manage digital platforms.

In addition to providing inspiration and guidance, the visit also served family students with the next internship opportunities that Edelman will offer as part of his collaboration with DMC.
The ‘Emirati Media Talent average’ is a strategic initiative that involves the main media organizations in the process of tutoring, training and integration of the Emirati talent in the media workforce.

Through internships, workshops and structured exposure to the industry, the initiative aims to equip young emiraties with the skills and experience necessary to success in the sector.
