Dubai traffic to ease: RTA opens new 1.8km flyover in major upgrade

The Dubai road and transport authority (RTA), which works with Rail Etihad, has opened a new high passage of 1.8 km on the street Al Yalayis to improve the flow of traffic to and from Dubai Investment Park.

The three -lane structure controlled by the signal includes right sliding roads for vehicles that are approaching from Dubai and those that go to Sheikh Zayed Road.

New high step of Dubai to separate traffic from trains and vehicles, says Rta

Rail Etihad officials confirmed their “continuous commitment to collaborate with the relevant authorities in the EAU to ensure that operations are aligned with the highest global standards.”

“The objective is to provide efficient transport services for goods and passengers in key areas, ensuring connectivity and safe and effective delivery of rail services,” the statement continued.

The new high step connects vital routes that improve mobility to and from Dubai, supporting the efforts of Rail Etihad to “strengthen social ties, improve the movement of goods and support economic growth throughout the country.”

Future plans include extending the high step to Jumeirah Golf Estaes, with the construction of a two -lane road in each direction to further improve network connectivity and guarantee a soft traffic flow in the area.
