Edge, the Advanced Technology and Defense Defense Group based in Abu Dhabi, is forming a joint naval construction company with Naval French naval builder, to build naval vessels such as Corvettes, patrol vehicles in the high seas (ABS), high -speed dhabceptors.
The new JV based in ABU Dhabi is called AD Naval (DNA) and wants an existing order pipe to be worth approximately 7 billion euros ($ 7.6 billion).
Naval CMN is a specialization of the world -renowned naval construction group in the design, engineering and construction of upper naval and commercial ships and mega yachts.
Edge and CMN collaboration
Edge will have a 51 percent participation in the new company and will collaborate with CMN Naval in sales, commercial activities and engineering. It will also establish a design agency, which will assume intellectual property rights for all future designs.
The JV will grant Edge access to the Naval CMN global supply chain and its advanced Integrated Logistics Support System and Software (ILS), improving the efficiency of profitability and operational performance through predictive and preventive maintenance, as well as the provision and speaking and spavovavosion and spravos.
The scope of the JV will also explore the integration of combat systems (CSI) or the advanced air and the Edge Autonomeo Sea, and the smart weapons solutions on ships built by the new company.

The announcement follows an initial association agreement signed in IDEX 2025 last month in Abu Dhabi, where both parties laid the foundations for collaboration in multiple domains.
