Emirates is ready to improve the experience of his passenger by implementing a Boeing 777 aircraft modernized to eight additional destinations, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s fleet update program.
The carrier plans to serve 44 cities with Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 reconditioned in September 2025, implementing a modernization strategy that sees an airplane that receives a comprehensive review every three weeks, the airline said in a statement on Tuesday.
The key destinations in the update program include:
- Lisbon: BOEING 777 CABINS UPDATED IN EK 191/192 and EK 193/194 of June 1, 2025
- Dublin: New Commercial Economics and Premium cabins in EK 161/162 as of June 25
- Hong Kong: METROFED BOEING 777 in EK 382/383 of July 15
- Maldives: Improved interiors in EK 658/659 of June 1 and EK 656/657 and EK 660/661 of July 15
- Kolkata: Boeing 777 Updated in EK 572/573 with four weekly flights on August 10
- Colombo: Interiors renewed on daily flights of EK 650/651 since August 10
- Johannesburg and Cape City: The premium economy and executive class cabins debut from September 1 and 25
- London Stansted: Second daily service with renewed interiors Boeing 777 in EK 067/068 of June 1
The modification program repeats a substantial investment of $ 5 billion, which covers more than 220 aircraft.
The restored Boeing 777 presents a four classes configuration, which includes 24 Premium economic seats and 260 economic class seats.
Executive class seats are configured in a 1-2-1 package, which offer privacy, access to the hall and spaces for work and relaxation.
