Etihad Airways has expanded its fleet with the arrival of its sixth A350 plane.
The plane landed this weekend after its delivery flight from Toulouse, France.
The A350 is recognized by its environmental credentials, issuing 25 percent less CO2 than previous generation aircraft and creating a noise footprint that is 50 percent narrower.
With its long-range capabilities, the A350-1000 provides the carrier for greater operational flexibility.
The airline plans to display the plane on its new Atlanta route this summer, marking the sixth destination of the carrier in North America and one of the 16 new routes that Etihad will launch this year.
