Etihad Airways is preparing for a significant increase in travelers at Zayed International Airport before multiple holiday periods approaching from March to August.

The airline expects partially high passenger volumes:

  • Spring schools: from March 20 to April 13
  • Eid Al Fitr: End of March
  • Hajj season: May
  • Eid al Adha: early June
  • Summer schools: June 28 to August 24

Essential Tips for Etihad Airways

  • Staying informed is the key duration of travel periods. Guests can easily access the last flight information through the administration reserve section at Etihad.com OA through the mobile application
  • To avoid possible queues, guests who arrive at the airport are strongly recommended at least four hours before the period of duration. For comfort, Etihad sacrifices multiple early registration options, including the opening of check-in online 48 hours before the output and is notable through Etihad.com or the mobile application. After registering online, guests can use the many drops of automated self -service bags in the terminal, which allows them to weigh and label their bags and collect their boarding pass in less than a minute

There are several check-in facilities outside the aerportation and bag facilities are also available at:

  • ABU Dhabi Cruise Terminal (open 24 hours)
  • The Fountains – Yas Mall (open from 10 am to 10 pm)
  • Mussafah (open from 10 am to 10 pm) in 38 to Arzaq Street, behind Al Madina Hypermarket
  • Al Ain (open from 10 am to 10 pm) in the hypermarket Lulu Kuwaitat, Shakhboot Bin Sultan St

For maximum convenience, guests can begin their trip with check-in at home through Morafiq, available up to five hours before departure. From AED185 ($ 50), this service includes the luggage record, selection of seats and delivery of boarding passes.

Upon returning to Abu Dhabi, the Land and Leave service offers a perfect arrival experience. Guests can proceed directly to their destination, while Morafiq delivers their bags to any direction of Abu Dhabi within three hours after landing. These services can be reserved through the application or Morafiq website.

Travelers to the US destinations must register at the terminal at least four hours before their flight. First, the companies, and the guests of the residence must reach the previous installation of customs and border protection of the United States (CBP) 90 minutes before departure, while all other guests must arrive two hours before the department.

The installation closes an hour before the flight exit.
