Fathers’ Endowment campaign raised $1bn in Ramadan

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the EAU and ruler of Dubai, announced that the campaign of endowment of the parents has achieved the unprecedented success and has elevated twice the camps, Bee Goeign is the camp, Bee -a -month Gow and Monthign is Barign or Month Goeign or month through the year.

The campaign, which launched the sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid on February 21, aims to honor parents in the EAU establishing a sustainable endowment fund, with a procedure dedicated to providing treatment and medical care to the least lucky.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid said: “As Ramadan concludes in the year of the community, our society has demonstrated a remarkable cohesion and solidarity in its dedication to humanitarian causes, which embodies the values ​​of giving and generosity.

“The unprecedented success of the parents’ endowment campaign, with a broad participation of institutions, companies and individuals, underlines the unwavering commitment of the EAU, their leadership and their people, to the unity of making a good and inspiring hope for all.

“In the spirit of Ramadan, our nation, United is in love and generosity. As the parents’ endowment campaign concludes, we are delighted with this community support too much, in honor of parents who remain the pillars of strengths and stability.

“The endowment of the parents is a new success that amplifies the mission of the EAU to defend solidarity against humanitarian challenges and the adoption of sustainability as the basis of shocking philanthropy.”

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid thanked all taxpayers to the campaign, emphasizing that the initiatives, among the greatest of his son who address the pressing humanitarian needs, solidify the role of the EAU as a main defender of human empowerment and the societal.

This support, said Sheikh Mohammed, is delivered through sustainable development programs focused on creating a future demonstrably better for all, marked by progress and prosperity.

The parents’ endowment campaign saw an enthusiastic community commitment and an increase in generosity aimed at honoring parents and supporting disadvantaged communities through improved and sustainable medical care.

This support seeks to improve the quality of life for all, reservoir stability and boost development in several sectors.

Released by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Duration Ramadan, the campaign achieved unprecedented success in record time. The contributions became several channels, including the initiative website, SMS messages (for users of DU and E & EAE), bank transfers, the campaign call center, the “Dubai Now” application and the “Jewish” community contribution platform.

Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and General Secretary of the Global Initiatives of Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktoum (MBRGI) affirmed that the work of the vision of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktouumman.

This vision prioritizes sustainable humanitarian support and encourages a culture of donations where collective action promotes a positive change.

It also focuses on supporting sectors that direct people directly, improve their quality of life and contribute to the stability and development of societies.

Al Gergawi stated that the parents’ endowment campaign, which reaches AED 3.72 billion ($ 1 billion) in just one month during the year of donations, powerfully demonstrates the depths of generosity, solidarity of the EAU.

To the Gergawi added that supporting medical care remains a priority for MBRGI, given its vital role in improving lives.

Through its specialized programs, MBRGI strives to raise medical care standards for several groups in disadvantaged communities.

This year’s parents’ endowment campaign received great support from the main taxpayers, including AED3bn AED3bn AED3BN contribution.

This contribution, the greatest individual contribution of the private sector in the history of the EAU, will finance a humanitarian medical complex in Dubai, which includes a hospital, a research center and a medical training center, significantly improving the EU health sector.

Built with the highest international standards, the complex, together with other endowment buildings in Dubai, will be funded by this generous contribution.

Sunny Varkey’s Education and Philantral entrepreneur announced a contribution from AED100M (27.2m) in support of the campaign and its objectives

In addition, the endowment buildings will be developed by several real estate developers to support the objectives of the campaign.

These include the developments of Impiaz (AED50M), the development of the Peace Houses (AED50M), Samana developers (AED40M) and BuimerciC Corporation Ltd. (AED20M).

The processes of these endowments will be used to support medical care in unattended communities, including hospitals, provide essential medical equipment and medicines, expand capacity and improve the rooms of operations.

These investments will create sustainable opportunities to improve the quality of life of those in need.

The key events that support the parents’ endowment campaign contributed to their record success. Those include the most noble numbers charity in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, which raised a total of AED167,461,000.

On the basis of previous campaigns of the Ramadan launched by Sheikh Mohammed al Maktoum, the parents of the parents aims to establish the culture of the endowment as a development tool, while parenting, promising or honoring.

It also reinforces the main humanitarian role of the EAU.

Continuing with the legacy of the successful Ramadan campaigns launched by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktoum, follow initiatives such as:

  • The “10 million member” campaign in 2020, which raised more than 15.3 million meals
  • The “100 million meal” campaign in 2021, which collected 220 million meals
  • The “one billion meals” in 2022, which reached its goal in less than a month
  • The “one billion meals endowments” in 2023, which raised AED1.075B ($ 293 million)
  • The Mothers endowment campaign at Ramadan 2024, in honor of the EAU mothers, aimed to create an AED1BN endowment ($ 272 million) for global education and has exceeded its objective, raising the AED1.4bn ($ 382 million)
