General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai launches 8th ICEQ International Conference – Technology

As part of the Dubai AI Week, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners – Dubai is launching the eighth edition of the International Quality Conference (ICEQ) under the title: “Innovations of AI: Future Foresight Educational. Public Institutions.” “

The conference will take place from April 22 to 24, 2025. The first day of the event will take place at Grand Hyatt Dubai, while the second and third day will take place at the headquarters of the GDR in Al Jafiliya.

By attracting a wide interest of researchers, experts and students, the conference focuses on AI innovations and their positive impact on empowering government institutes and improving the quality of education. It also aims to explore future transformations in AI and its role in the development and education of public service, with emphasis on avant -garde technologies that improve institutional efficiency and promote intelligent learning.

Until now, the Scientific Committee of the Conference has received more than 200 research works from local and international researchers, including university students. The presentation phase has now closed, and the conference agenda has been completed, including discussion issues and selected documents.

More than 500 participants are expected to attend, including AI leaders, education researchers, professionals and students eager to present specialized research or participate in discussions and workshops.

The conference will have specialized workshops, research presentations and panel discussions with distinguished speakers from government and academic institutions. He is proud of Dell and Emaraatech, and will also include the participation of leading global organizations such as Microsoft and Google. The sessions will focus on key issues, including ways to improve the quality of education through artificial intelligence technologies and strengthen the role of public institutes through modern solutions promoted by technology.

Among the most prominent aspects is the first main presentation, entitled “How the main universities are building their AI capacities, a case study in collaboration with Dell”, Whator will explore academic institutions can take advantage of AI tools to build

The first discussion of the panel, “Use AI intelligently in education,” will examine the strategies to raise AI in education to create improved interactive teaching tools and raise learning results.

The second main presentation, “independent government services promoted by generative AI”, will show how generative AI is being integrated into government services to boost operational efficiency and accelerate digital transformation.

The third key note, “innovations of AI in Google Cloud: enabling government and education”, will highlight the latest advances in Google Cloud and its role in government sectors and support academics.

Meanwhile, the second discussion panel, “ai to empower public institutions”, will deepen how AI technologies can be strategically implemented to improve institutional performance and promote innovation in the provision of public services.

Several technological companies will also show their latest innovations promoted by AI, offering attendees Practical exhibition to emerging technologies and practical applications. The conference will also have the student participation of several universities, with more than 40 projects presented so far. The presentations remain open until the end of March, giving more students the opportunity to participate through the official platform of the conference.

This conference underlines the General Directorate of Identity and Foreign Affairs: Dubai’s commitment to advance research and development in science and technology, promotion innovation in government services and contribute to a better quality of life and education. It also reaffirms Dubai’s position as a global center for digital economy and technological innovation.
