IndiGo announces launch of new daily flights from Fujairah to Mumbai, Kannur

The Fujairah International Airport has announced an association with Indigo to introduce two direct daily flights that connect the EAU emirate with Mumbai and Kannur in India, as of May 15, 2025.

The new routes represent Indigo’s fifth destination in the EAU, which adds to its existing services to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras al Khaimah and Sharjah.

For Fujairah, the association aims to improve regional connectivity and increase tourism.

The agreement comes at a time when the demand for travel between the EAU and India continues to grow among residents, tourists and business travelers.

“We are pleased to announce the launch of the daily direct flights from Mumbai and Kannur to Fujairah, a hidden jewel in the EAU that is rich in natural beauty and economic potential. Like our 41st international and fifth destination in the EAU (we already fly to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras al Khaimah and Sharjah), Fujairah sacrifices a land Landscapi and a wool of the Thrajaus.

The expansion is expected to benefit the clients of the airline through improved service options and Fujairah’s economy by increasing the number of international visitors to the Emirate.

The officials anticipate that the new flights will strengthen ties between the EAU and India, while providing travelers with more convenient options to visit the family, carry out businesses or explore new destinations.
