Around 100 people, including influencers, employees and national Cricket players, met at the Anis Sajan residence, vice president or Danube group and are popular known as Mr. Cricket UAE, for a unique final projection of IPL. The event turned its private mansion into a space of visualization in the style of the stadium, offering fans the opportunity to experience the game into a shared and energetic environment.
Without IPL matches held at the EAU this season, the projection filled a notable gap for Crick enthusiasts in the region. The configuration presented a live DJ, Doly Players, a Kohli Virat Act, a Pani Puri competition and Crick the Thematic Games, creating a scenario that reflected the festive spirit of the tournament.
“The IPL is not just a Cricket tournament; it is the biggest celebration of the year after Diwali, Holi and Eid,” said Anis Sajan. “Without access to stage matches for Indians living in the EAU this season, I wanted to bring that energy home. This event was about maintaining the spirit of the living, noisy and united game.”
The EAU have previously housed the IPL matches, but many Indian expatriates felt this year’s absence. Events like this provide a way for the community to join and share their passion for the game.
Attendee reactions:
Shanu Suresh, influencer of lifestyle: “It was just a party, he captured the feeling of being part of the IPL.”
Chaya Mughal, former captain, National Team of Women’s Cricket from the EAU.: “Anis Bhai brought the stadium to the city. Energy was real.”
Angad, Danube group: “This reminded me or being in the middle of a multitude of IPL. He gathered everyone.”
The event reflects Anis Sajan’s continuous efforts to support and promote Cricket in the EAU. While it may not have a leg, the atmosphere and the spirit of the night showed that the passion for the game can prosper anywhere.
