Spartan Race Middle East organized his From dawn to dusk Event on April 19 at the Arena, Bab Al Shams, attracting more than 5,500 participants and spectators to what the organizers called “one of the most immersive and challenging race day experiences in the region to date.”

The event, located in a sand inspired by Colosse against the context of Bab al Shams desert, presented morning race waves until night.

The competitors participated in the 5 km sprint with 20 obstacles, the 10 km super with 25 obstacles and the 1-3 km children’s race.

Corporate participation arose as a key feature of the April event, with Oracle teams, Boston Consulting Group, Fiji Water, Mount, BRF, Kerzner International and the entities of the Dubai government that participate.

These teams “adopted the Spartan course not only as a race, but as an opportunity to deepen relationships, challenge leadership skills and participate in the significant construction of teams outside the traditional office environments,” the organizers said in a statement.

“Spartan’s unique career format, demanding physical resistance and mental strength, reflects the high pressure challenges facing leadership teams worldwide,” the statement added.

Spartan Race Middle East positions its corporate categories such as “Strategic Platforms for Leadership Development, Employee Participation and Organizational Welfare”, with teams that face obstacles that required “decision in real time, clear and mutual communication.”

Beyond the physical challenges, the event offered an atmosphere of festival with recovery, relaxation and celebration options.

Village Festival presented food and drinking options such as Pickl, Allo Beirut, Gino’s Deli, Costa and Red Bull.

Additional amenities included courtesy ice baths, recovery areas, shaded cooling areas, game rooms and live entertainment for all attendees.

“Whether running for personal objectives, strengthening the ties of the team or support from the cost, Spartan Race Race Middle East from Dawn ‘to dusk is a will to the power of the challenge, commitment and community,” the statement added.
