The Foreign Ministry of the EAU (MOFA) has announced the success of mediation efforts in an exchange of prisoners between the United States of America and the Russian Federation. The process saw the exchange of a Russian citizen and an American citizen, and representatives of the relevant authorities of both countries attended.
The Ministry expressed its appreciation for the governments of the United States and the Russian Federation for the trust placed in the EAU and to designate Abu Dhabi as the place for the process of exchanging prisoners, which was the Belllen Federation coordination.
