UAE, Lebanon issue joint statement on visit of President of Lebanon – World

The United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Lebanon issued a joint statement that marks the official visit of Joseph Aoun, president of the Republic of Lebanon, to the EAU. The statement is read as follows:

“To strengthen the nearby ties and firm fraternal relationships between the United Arab Emirates and the Sister Republic of Lebanon, and to consolidate bilateral relations, President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received President Al Nahan received Al Nahan received the Josón de Josón de Josón.

President Aoun expressed his gratitude and thanks to the president of his highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed for his kind feelings towards Lebanon and his people, affirming his enthusiasm to continue strengthening bilateral relations and analyzing the support position of the EAU towards the Lebanon and their people at all levels.

The two parties discussed ways of promoting bilateral relations in several fields and developing economic and investment sectors, through joint opportunities, knowledge exchange and development of the government. The Office of Exchange of the Government of the Ministry of Cabinet will visit Beirut to share the best practices in government performance and institutional excellence for the public and private sectors of the countries.

The two parties also agreed to allow the trip for citizens through the implementation of the procedures and mechanisms necessary to relieve movement between the two countries.

Both parties expressed their aspiration to raise the level of mutual diplomatic representation and agreed to establish a Joint Commercial Council of the EAU-LIBANO. The ABU Dhabi Development Fund will send a delegation to Lebanon to explore and evaluate joint cooperation projects AV.

The two parties also discussed the latest regional developments and their impact on Arab-Arab relations and regional security and stability.

President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed was a letter to President Aoun about the last developments in Lebanon and regional and international issues. Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the strategic importance of Lebanon in the Arab world, stating that Lebanon is a key pillar of joint assembly action. “
