UAE petrol prices to drop sharply in April 2025

The EAU have announced gasoline prices by April 2025, with a strong drop revealed in all categories.

It is welcome news for customers, after a slight fall in March, and it means that it is cheaper to fill the Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus 91 and Diesel than at any time in the last three years.

A reduction in the price carries the price of E-Plus to only AED2.38 per liter and arrives after 12 months of fluctuating prices.

EEA Gasoline Price 2025

As of April 1, the cost of filling vehicles in the EAU will be:

• E-Plus: AED2.38 A liter of AED2.54 in March
• Special 95: AED2.46 A liter of AED2.61 in March
• Super 98: AED2.57 A liter of AED2.73 in March
• Diesel: AED2.63 A liter of AED2.77 in March

In April 2024, E-Plus 91 had a price of AED2.96 per liter, while Diesel was established in AED3.09 per liter.

In current prices, E-Plus 91 is cheaper (in AED2.38 per liter) than at this time last year.

Special 95 and Super 98 are also cheaper now than a year ago, falling from AED3.03 to AED2.46 a liter and AED3.15 to 2.57 A liter rental.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the fuel price committee froze gasoline prices in the EAU, avoiding any change.

However, in March 2021, as global oil prices rose, controls were built to allow market forces to determine gasoline prices once again.

In addition, fluctuation in gasoline prices is also influenced by changes in crude oil prices worldwide.
