President of his Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed al Nahyan and his excellence Denis Sassou Ngueñso, president of the Republic of Congo, discussed today the opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic, commercial and investors sectors, as well as other key areas that support the priorities of development of nations and advance in their shared interests.
The discussions took place in Qasr al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, where his highness charges President Sassou as his work visit to the EAU.
The meeting also covered a variety of regional and international issues of mutual interest, with both parties exchanging views on several issues.
His highness reaffirmed the strategic commitment of the EAU to strengthen their associations with African nations, partly in the economic sphere. He pointed out that the EAU have made significant advances in this regard in recent years, in line with their lung approach or promoting opportunities to achieve shared development for all.
