UAE ranks among top global AI contenders, says BCG report

The EAU have positioned between the main emerging economies in the preparation of AI, according to a new Boston Consulting Group (BCG) report.

While other CCG nations such as Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain are classified as ‘IA’ practitioners, no Gulf nation has reached the state of first -level “pioneer” currently currently held by the United States, the United Kingdom and China.

“The EAU stand out as an advanced leadership and execution lighthouse in AI, but what makes the moment notable is the wider transformation wave throughout the CCG”, Dr. Ir. Lars Lars Litig, managing director and partner of BCG explained.

The report recommends expanding AI capacities through balancing and acquisition programs of international talent, reacing government structures with evolutionary ethics frameworks and intense research and development investments to promote collaborations.
