The EAU have frustrated more than 600 cyber attacks in entities throughout the country.
The cybersecurity Council confirmed that national cybersecurity systems are successful with cyber attacks aimed at 634 government and private entities.
These attacks aimed to filter data from vital and strategic sectors in the EAU and were addressed using global best practices in this critical field.

Dr. Mohamed al Kuwaiti, head of cyber security of the Eau Government, said that a threat actor known as “Rose87168” said he had violated the SSO and LDAP of Oracle Cloud, which resulted in the filtration of approximately six million password data.
He added that the estimates suggest that around 140,000 entities worldwide can have a bone affected by the violation, including 634 entities in the EAU, or which 30 are government entities, 13 are private and the rest falls into other categories.
The cybersecurity council clarified that emergency cybernetic systems have been activated throughout the country in coordination with the relevant authorities to safeguard cyberspace and strength of the EAU.
The Council urged all government and private institutions to improve their cyber security defenses, raise their cyber preparation levels and inform any suspicious activity that can point to digital systems immediately.
He also emphasized the importance of a watchman and adopting the best security practices to counteract the growing cyber threats, especially with the evolution of the piracy and cyber fraud tools that now acquire varoose shapes.
