The Department of Health-ABU Dhabi (DOH) and the ABU Dhabi Investment Office (ADIE) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the city of Mase.
The agreement aims to support the development of the infrastructure for laboratory spaces within the city of Mase.

It also foresees the development of talent in implementing training and workshops, collaborating with universities to offer opportunities for internship and research and translate research in economic value through the development of associations with pharmaceutical partners and biotechnology to promote.
Dr. Astma Ibrahim Al Mannaei, Executive Director of the Doh Health Sciences Sector, said research and development are the key to promoting innovation and sustainable development of the Health Ecosystem and Life Sciences.
“With associations such as the thesis, our goal is to strengthen our commitment to create a resistant ecosystem that will feed the discovery of transformative care models and treatments,” the Mannaei told Mannaei.
Dr. Fatma al Mulla, Cluster of Health, Resistance, Longevity and Medicine in Adio, said the agreement indicates the determination of Abu Dhabi to shape the next border of life sciences.
“By building spaces that meet researchers, entrepreneurs and emerging technologies within our new health, resistance, longevity and cluster of medicine (rudder), we are cultivating an environment where scientific ambition can translate into practical advances,” he told Mulla.
According to the agreement, Adio, in collaboration with Doh and Masdar City, will develop a strategic framework to evaluate the long -term impact of the Health and Life Science Laboratories in the economic and medical care priorities of Abu Dhabi.
Adio will also facilitate global investment associations to help offer high -impact scientific advances, and play a key role in exploration of mechanisms to ensure that talent development initiatives to the sustainability of the workforce.
Mohamed al Breiki, Executive Director of Sustainable Development at Masdar City, said the agreement reinforces the role of Masdar City as a cornerstone in Abu Dhabi’s mission to Becal had for life sciences and innovation.
