Foodtech Challenge (FTC) has preselected 42 new innovative companies in early stages for their solutions promoted by technology that have the potential to transform global food systems.
Organized by the Office of International Affairs in the Presidential Court of the EAU and Tamkeen and delivered in association with the Gates Foundation, Ne’MA, the Food and Waste loss initiative of the EAU, and Silal, a leading agricultural food company of the EAU, the third iteration of the FTC offers its greatest prize in cash to date. The competition was announced at the annual meeting of the Global Clinton initiative in 2024.
At the end of this year, four winners will receive an action of $ 2 million in cash subsidies. In addition to the financing, each winner will benefit from the market support and access to a global network that drives them to display their solutions in the EAU and scale throughout the global south.
