Azizi Developments recruits 1,600 staff this year to bring employee count to 36,000

The real estate giant of the EAU, Azizi Developments, has recruited more than 1,600 new employees this year, since it carries its total staff count to around 36,000 workers.

Their recent talent acquisition efforts have resulted in a significant increase in the size of their workforce, reinforcing their ambitious growth and commitment strategy with operational excellence.

The developer has grown up from a modest team of simply seven employees in 2007 to 35,978 professionals and construction workers in April or 2025.

The increase in hiring reflects a rapid increase as a leading private developer in the rise real estate sector of the region.

Only in the last four months, Azizi has welcomed 1,620 new members of the professional staff, marking a milestone that underlines its remarkable impulse and its notable role in creating employment in the real estate market of the EAU.

The group of talents has constantly increased, from only 120 people in 2017 to 350 in 2019, reaching 3,600 by 2022, and now almost 36,000, approximately 6,000 or who are white -collar professionals.

The developer intends to generate 7,000 additional employees by the end of the year.

Mirwais Azizi, founder and president of Azizi Developments, said: “We are proud of the progress that we have achieved in the last decade. Our team is the cornerstone of our success, innovation, quality and a client approach.

“This expansion reflects our pipe of sustained and growing projects and the scale of our operations to meet the growing demand of local and international clients.”

The Azizi list now covers 99 nationalities. The company is also focusing on recruiting more talent with experience in European markets and beyond to strengthen its presence on other continents to which it plans to develop iconic projects and expand its hospitality portfolio.

In line with the EU -emiret objectives, Azizi has also significantly increased their efforts to hire Emirati talent, with a growing number of nationals now part of its expanding workforce in several departments.
