Dubai DET inks new deal with Hyatt to boost global visibility

The agreement, signed by Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for tourism and trade marketing (DCTCM), part of DET, and Fathi Khogoy, vice president of the Hyatt Hotels area in Dubai, aims to support the economic agenda of Dubai, D33, which seeks to establish Dubai as a main global destination.

According to the MOU, Hyatt Hotels in Dubai will participate in initiatives that include familiarization trips, study programs and events to abroads abroad.

The hotel group will also contribute to promotional campaigns such as Flash sales, exhibitions and roadshows.

In return, it will provide marketing support for Hyatt projects, including the launch of the new Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark scheduled to open this year.

The collaboration will use key opinion leaders (KOLS) and the creation of content to increase the scope.
