Dubai Holding joined an investor consortium to acquire the educational giant Nord Anglia in an agreement that values the company at $ 14.5 billion.
This transaction marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Nord Anglia as a world leader in private international education. Operating more than 80 schools in 33 countries, Nord Anglia educates more than 90,000 students from 2 to 18 years.
The Investor Consortium includes Dubai Holding Investments, EQT, Neuberger Berman Private Markets, Canada Pension Board Plan for Investment and Financial Corporation Alba.
Dubai Holding Consortium acquires the education of Nord Anglia
Together with EQT, Neuberger Berman Private Markets, CPP Investments, CF Alba and Dubai Holding, the completion of Nord Anglia’s acquisition also presents a distinguished group of managers or institutions of global financial assets of Hhotterift significant.
Investors include sovereign wealth funds, insurers and family offices in Asia, Middle East, Europe and North America
Nord Anglia Education operates four schools in the EAU:
- Nord Anglia International Schools, Dubai
- Nord Anglia International Schools, Abu Dhabi
- British International School, Abu Dhabi
- Swiss International Scientific School, Dubai
